Our Story
VYA was built from a lifetime of locally lived experience, and more than ten years spent inside this country's ports, government offices and outer-island communities, not observing them, but living and working alongside them. That distinction matters. In a cruising ground this young to the superyacht world, there is no substitute for relationships built over years rather than seasons, and no shortcut to the trust that allows a customs clearance to happen quietly, or a provisioning order to arrive complete, or a village to open its doors to guests it has never met.
We began as the people who solved the practical problem of arrival. We have become the people who design the experience that follows it.
Our Philosophy
Luxury, in a destination this untouched, is not about adding more. It is about removing everything that would otherwise stand between a guest and the place itself, the paperwork, the uncertainty, the wrong turn, the closed door. We work in the space between what a vessel needs and what Vanuatu can offer, so that the two can simply meet.
We do not sell Vanuatu. We remove everything standing between a guest and it.

Our Local Knowledge
We hold working relationships with customs, immigration, biosecurity and port authorities across every official port of entry, Port Vila, Luganville, Lenakel and Sola, as well as with the chiefs and communities who govern access to much of the country's custom land. We know which anchorages hold in a southeasterly, which villages welcome visitors on a given week, and which of Vanuatu's ninety-plus languages will open the right door in the right province. This is knowledge that cannot be purchased quickly. It has been built, island by island, for well over a decade.
